*Carry a Bead is a signature fundraising program of Beads of Courage, a nonprofit organization providing arts-in-medicine programs that improve the quality of life of children coping with serious illness. The funds raised by your group support our mission of hope and healing for more than 60,000 children and teens we support on any given day. Please order by 12/18 to receive by 12/24 (Our shipping center is closed 12/20 - 1/6/25) Thank you!

The Beads of Courage Holiday Carry a Bead Group Kit provides everything you need for your group to literally “carry a bead” during an upcoming activity or event. The beads you carry are then mailed back to Beads of Courage, along with simple notes of encouragement that each group member signs (included in kit).

When we receive your beads and note cards, we will send them to Beads of Courage member hospitals, where they will be given to children undergoing treatment for a serious illness on a tough treatment day. Through the simple act of carrying a bead, your group says to a child who has already been through so much: Keep on going. Don’t give up. We are in this fight with you.
